(Reworked from an original two-page prose poem about celibacy that took me a month to write. Drastic pruning.)
i want none of it
love-waste wrapped in latex
star-studded pillows
words feel erotic
tongue in cheek, on teeth, pallet
safely erotic
old november nest
caked sheets in need of some
ralph lauren floral
wind, full-bodied air
unsettles stagnant aura
between trench and skin
tom yum take-out soup
shrimps captive in clear plastic
revive my sullen tongue
paper revision
requires rendezvous with TA
restraint revised
concert hall speakers
pulse resonates within
like clapper to lip

Don't Ever Stop
Sometimes you do something so right, but you eventually stop.
Don't - it works.

A Quarter of a Century
Brad and Patrick, thank you for the Zubrowka - I'm well pished at the moment.
If you know me (or if you've been a recurring visitor here) you know I despise
my effing birthday. I must say though, things are looking up - I think.
They're good now at least.
Anyway I decided to try optimism post quarter, so here is goes.
Happiness...
Please.

Bathrooms - My Point
Still a work in progress. Viewing bathrooms as the most underrated rooms - because they are.
Will elaborate more as I get closer to completion.

The Rützou Chronicle
A friend of mine was in Stockholm last month and brought me back a copy of this gorgeous biannual publication - The Chronicle. Bound with wax, the pages can be detached easily and used for other purposes.
Best souvenir, Brett, thank you!

Branch Magazine
Last month Gillian Zse and Roberutsu asked me if I wanted to contribute to their upcoming edition of Branch Magazine, a visual and literary arts online magazine. This gave me the extra push I needed in order to carry out a series I had been entertaining in my head for a while. I paired some old photos from various dance shows I've covered along with new material I shot for the occasion. The issue is now available on their website.
The most amazing part: finding out Fred Wah was the feature writer.
Wah has been an enormous inspiration for me over the past two years and continues to be so. Having my work featured alongside him is the biggest honor I have received yet.
Thank you Branch!
I also want to give a huge thank you to Angie Cheng, Helen Simard, Holly Greco, Andrew Tay and Benjamin Kamino for enabling me to do this.

Dr. Martens #FIRSTANDFOREVER
Might be the timing, but this Dr. Martens campaign really tugs at my heart-thing. Plus I'm a huge sucker for the est. 1960's boot company - huge. TGIFALL.

Last year I shot this series of self portraits and have been meaning to elaborate on the bathroom theme ever since.
