As an aspiring writer, I’ve always dreamt of owning an Underwood, such as Ernest Hemingway, Charles Bukowski, William Faulkner, E.B. White, (Christian in Moulin Rouge), etc. Its beauty, its sound, its font, everything about an Underwood typewriter is perfection. I always believed every writer should have one, yet I never found mine up until two days ago in an antique shop on Saint-Laurent. The best part – she works! As I am writing this, I can't help glancing over at her and smiling. I have never seen one in such mint condition, not to mention that she was manufactured in 1929.
That being said, now all I have to do is actually write something.
