Think Big… Budget
I know talent is what really matters. A true visionary can make something out of nothing. That being said however it would be fun to make something out of something for a change. As I was tending to my weekly scouting duties for inspiring work, I couldn’t help but find myself envying photographer Tim Walker (yes I know, envy is a horrible thing and I should be ashamed, still I couldn’t help it.) The resources this man has access to seem endless. Of course it helps when such resources are on occasion covered for you by means of contracts. Again, I am aware that the real credit goes to Walker's imagination for conjuring up such extravagant scenes, yet without the bucks backing the brains how could he achieve this:
I do not want to discredit Walker, I know he is very well capable of ‘cheaper’ extravagance:
After all he was assistant to the late, yet nonetheless extraordinary, Richard Avedon.
I anticipate future funds that will bring my wildest chimeras to life. Naturally, one must acquire much experience and work extremely hard to attain the ranks of Walker and Avedon, but as I like to say... if not for the sky, what's the point in aiming at all?
