Ballerina Project

For the first time ever, someone “suggested I become a fan of” (no choice but to bring out the Facebook lingo) something that actually interested me… a lot!

That’s right! Thanks to Facebook (so odd to write) I discovered the stunning work of Dane Shitagi, a Honolulu-born photographer based out of New York City, and his Ballerina Project. This project is essentially the visual embodiment of the struggle faced by artists attracted to the creativity Mecca that is New York City. The subject matter and composition of these photographs are breathtaking and inspirational.
