If Trainspotting Were a Sculpture

Maybe the fact that I am once again completely submersed in Irvine Welsh’s novel skews my perception, so when I came across artist David A. Smith’s work, I could not help but make a connection in my mind.

I’ve grown very fond of the following pieces. I think the young British artist is quite promising.

Please have a look at his other oeuvres. He is rather versatile, I simply happen to have a penchant for the more macabre lot.
